About Us Our business was established over 16 years ago as John McLauchlan Horticulture and has supplied horticultural and aquatic products to enthusiasts in the UK over that time. On 1st May 2004, the trading name changed to Viresco (UK) Ltd.

Most of the products are micro-organism based and are sold under the brand name Viresco™. Other products are based on our very reactive humic acid called Humate. The products featured on these pages are packed in relatively small quantities but only small amounts are used to achieve results. For example, for the suppression of blanketweed (string algae) in ponds, 10g of Viresco™ Aqua will treat a volume of 6000 gallons (27,000 litres). The 25g pack of Viresco™ Soluble will treat approximately 75m² of soil or other growing medium. The 100g pack of granular Humate should be mixed into about 150 litres of peat-based compost.

Because of the small size of the packs, we are able to offer, for each product, the same delivered price worldwide.
